The Autism Association (Singapore) (AAS), www.autismlinks.org.sg, is one of the non-profit organizations in Singapore, dedicated to support individuals with autism and help them lead meaningful lives in society. AAS runs two Early Intervention Centres for children with autism, and a Day Activity Centre for adults with autism.
In addition, Eden School, www.edenschool.edu.sg, started by AAS, offers a quality education for students with autism who require more time in building foundational skills and/or are assessed to be more suitable for a vocational route. It now offers a unique blend of Functional Academics, Pre-Vocational and other important Life Skills.

SPED TEACHERResponsibilities:
- Developing a differentiated curriculum combining functional academics, life skills and vocational skills
- Delivering lessons using a combination of methodology that is pupil-focused, fun and autism-friendly
- Creating a structured environment for meaningful learning
- Implementing and monitoring progress of students’ Individual Education Plan goals
- Collaborating effectively with parents to generalize skills learnt in school
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 GCE ‘O’ Levels (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics
- A Diploma or Degree from a recognized educational institution; or Diploma in Autism, Education or Special Education
- Relevant experience in teaching special needs students will be an advantage

CLASS COACH (DAY ACTIVITY CENTRE)Responsibilities:
Performance of Clients
- Maintain and develop a proper system of administration of Client's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Individual Care Plan (ICP), attendance, training programme records and administrative records
- Plan and execute all therapeutic and training activities for Clients
- Supervise Clients during all outdoor activities ensuring safety and welfare
- Create / improve supervision methods as advised by Consultants
Welfare of Clients
- Ensure that the welfare and behaviour of Clients are appropriately taken care of, as advised by Consultants
- Pre / post Agency Visits for transfer cases to ensure smooth transition of Clients
- Regular Home Visits to monitor Clients welfare
Documentation
- Prepare and submit IEPs, ICPs, Progress Reports, Lesson Plans and Incident Reports to the HOC and / or Consultants
- Ensure that up-to-date Client records, including details of assessment are maintained
- Collect learning data and maintain documentation file
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the fields of Special Education, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, etc.
- At least a Diploma from a recognized educational institution in the fields mentioned above
- Experience in Community Service with exposure to youths / adults with autism is an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Meticulous and good organizing skills
- Team player and able to work independently

EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMME TEACHER (CLEMENTI)Responsibilities:
Delivers the following under the supervision of an assigned mentor:
- Assesses autism learning needs of students using key assessment documents and processes
- Plans appropriate lessons and activities to meet the goals as listed in the child's Individualised Educational Plan (IEP)
- Uses autism specific strategies in implementation of intervention to achieve IEP goals
- Prepares appropriate materials for lesson delivery
- Monitors, documents and reports on progress of child on IEP goals
- Works closely with parents / carers throughout child's intervention process
- Initiates discussions with team members on combined sessions
- Submits all reports and data sheets on a timely basis.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education or Pre-school Teaching or equivalent
- Relevant teaching experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Desire to learn about Autism and expand knowledge base
- Passion to work with young children and their families to maximize their talents and potential

TEACHER-AIDE (PART TIME)Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in the class to work with the students with autism
- Assist the teacher to set up the resources and physical arrangements in the class
- Assist the teacher to prepare resources for teaching and learning
- Assist the teacher when they bring the students out of school for their off-site activities
- Assist the teachers in charge of special rooms to prepare resources for teaching resources and learning, set up the resources and physical arrangements in the room
- All other duties as assigned by the school management
Requirements:
- Minimum "O" Level
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience
- Teaching or Nursing experience is an advantage
- Available for Afternoon Session

CENTRE ADMINISTRATION OFFICERResponsibilities:
- Administration
- Staff & Client Attendance
- Membership Fees
- Library / Resource Books
- HR related Forms such as Leave, Claim, Training etc
- Meeting Minutes taking
- Assist in Event / Outing Arrangements e.g. Registration Forms, Attendance List
- Various Client-related Documents and Updating such as Client Lists, Intake Letters, Subsidy Letters, Discharged Letters, Various Feedback Forms, New Client Forms, DDR, PES etc
- Financial
- Collection of Programme Fees; Other related Income
- Preparation & issuing of receipts for Programme Fees
- Upkeep of petty cash float
- Preparation of payment vouchers
- Reimbursement of petty cash claims
- Banking in cash & cheque collections
- Submission of consolidated / summarized reports on monthly income and expenditure
- Report Preparation
- Reception, Clerical and other related duties
Requirements:
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Community Service is an added advantage
- At least a full qualification of “O” Level from a recognized educational institution
- Meticulous and good organizing skills
- Team player and able to work independently
