DEEPA RAYA CELEBRATIONS

It was a very special celebration as both our Muslim and Hindu staff and students celebrated their new year together at a concert specially put up by the staff. Besides a lively Malay and a Bangra dance put up by the teachers, students were also treated to a talk on the customs of both festivals as well as a short question and answer quiz. The students were also invited on stage to join the teachers in their dances. After the concert, the students sampled traditional tidbits at recess.
