EDEN SCHOOL BASED ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS AND GRADUATION CEREMONY 2012

12 November 2012

The 3rd Eden School Based Awards Ceremony was held on 12 November 2012.  The annual award ceremony is to recognize the progress and improvements our students have made for the year in study.

This year we have 135 students receiving a total number of 216 awards. Parents were invited to celebrate this memorable moment with us. For the very first time, the ceremonies were co-emceed by students Cedrik Lim and Marshal Chua, who did an amazing job, supporting teachers Charlene Ng and Evelyn Chen.

The ceremony was graced by Eden School Supervisor, Ms Denise Phua and guests from Catlin Private Limited, who donated a generous sum of fifty thousand dollars in support of our upcoming Eden School Sensory Park.

Our principal, Miss Tan Wee Lim, kicked off that day’s programme with an opening address. This was followed by a nostalgic moment with a video montage been shown to highlight the major 2012 school events. Students from Drake class took over the stage with an exciting special rock and roll performance, which was very well-received by all students. Everyone applauded thunderously and the claps resounded through the hall.

This year, there were two categories of awards for the students: Best Performance Award and Best Improvement Award. The awardees proudly marched up on stage to receive their awards.

2012 is a very special year for Eden School as we held our first graduation ceremony for the pioneeer batch of students. The four graduands are Gary Oh, William Yap, Brian Dorai and Pang Yu Qiang. Each of them received a set of special gift, comprising of a certificate, a photo collage and an Eden School teddy bear on this significant day.

The day ended off with a photo taking session at our specially customized photo booth. Parents flocked to the booth with their children to commit the moment to memory.

Parents & teachers were touched as they witness the growth and achievements of our beloved students. Well done Eden family!
