Eden celebrates its 10th Anniversary today with a concert involving students, staff and parents. Mr Ng Chee Meng, Acting Minister for Education (Schools) graced the celebrations with his presence. He toured the school and learnt about the various autism pedagogy that was used in the differentiated classes. The theme for the event was ‘The Road to Eden – A Celebration of Abilities and Possibilities’.
Students performed a skit, played the ukulele and sang a song composed by the staff entitled ‘Thank You for Believing I Can.’ It was a showcase of students’ abilities at all fronts – whether in arts, drama, song and dance or vocational skills, and the announcement of the Eden Talent Development Fund – that will provide funds to further develop students and their talents. Minister Ng interacted with the guests and gamely posed for photos with the students.
